3 Apr – Previously set to open in cinemas this summer, "Top Gun: Maverick" is now a Christmas blockbuster instead as it has been moved to December. Paramount Pictures have rescheduled some of its upcoming titles, according to Deadline, including moving the "Top Gun" sequel from 24 June to 23 December 2020. This move means that the Chris Pratt-starring "The Tomorrow War" will no longer open two days later on 25 December, to avoid box office clashes with the Tom Cruise-starrer. As of now, Pratt's movie has no new release date.
