13 Sep – Disney recently announced that it will be releasing "The Little Mermaid" in 2023. The House of Mouse recently announced the release dates of several of its upcoming titles, including the said live-action remake, stating that the movie will be released on 26 May 2023.
And unlike "Mulan", the last Disney princess to have been released, the film will feature many of the classic songs from the 1989 animated feature, as well as new additions by Broadway star Lin-Manuel Miranda, who previously wrote songs for "Moana".
